Newly Released Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch Challenges iPad Pro
Besides launching the Huawei Mate 50 series flagship smartphones, the China-based first-tier smartphone company, Huawei, also released several other products. Among them, we should mention the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch tablet, which challenges the iPad Pro.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Externally, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch continues with the simple yet atmospheric design style of the previous models. However, the screen frame is only 5.6mm thin, which provides a 90% ultra-high screen ratio display.
The micro-arc middle frame ensure an excellent, comfortable grip for the users. The tablet is 609g light and 6.5mm thin. Due to the industry's first frosting process, it feel extremely good on hand.
One of the biggest selling points of Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch is its screen. It boasts a 12.6 inch 120Hz refresh rate OLED primary colour full screen, with 2560x1600 resolution, 1000000:1 high contrast, and 1.07 billion colours. Not only that, it has a P3 wide colour gamut, Delta E<1 colour accuracy, reaching the top level in the industry.
In addition, the tablet comes with HUAWEI SOUND audio, and it can reach up to 79dB loudness and shocking sound effects. Combined with the OLED screen, it can become an immersive handheld theatre.
The screen has passed the German Rheinland Full-Care Display 3.0 certification and adopts low blue light technology. The latter supports 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, significantly reducing stroboscopic and eye discomfort as compared to ordinary OLEDs.
PERFORMANCE
Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch comes with a massive battery capacity of 10050mah which is capable of providing 9 hours of web browsing, and up to 19 days standby mode. It supports 40W Huawei super-fast charging, and the battery will be fully charged in about 2 hours. Moreover, it also supports wireless and reverse charging.
It is equipped with the Kirin 9000E chip. In terms of its hardware, its processor is extremely powerful and it uses Harmony OS 3. The tablet supports 8GB RAM and has three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) comes with a new colour - Snow White. The delay of the stylus is as low as 2ms, which is comparable to the effect of a physical pen and paper. When using the pencil, be it writing notes or drawing, it can bring powerful writing and drawing capabilities.
Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch has a front 8 megapixel selfie camera, and a triple rear camera with a 13 megapixel lens, 8 megapixel wide angle camera and a 3D depth camera. It supports AI noise reduction while using the tablet for video conferencing. It also supports 48K high-definition calls, with 24kHz frequency. This means that the video calls are much more clearer with better audio quality.
